In this year of post-pandemic recovery one word is of the essence: speed. In the virtual event AboutFuture we came to a debate about measures to be implemented to ensure a speedy return to a healthy economy and a healthy population.

Governments are caught in a balancing act between counteracting the economic fallout and safeguarding the health of its citizens. Which path should we follow? We should step up new collaborations, stimulate innovation, economic growth and employment, foster sustainability and process safety, and make use of new digital technologies.

At the AboutFuture Leaders’ Talks 2021, top managers in the life sciences sector debated about government measures and their implementation.
