H.Essers achieves highest degree in TAPA certification for transport

As the first company in the Benelux with a Pan-European coverage H.Essers achieved a TAPA certification for its entire fleet within the business unit Security Logistics.
Specifically, more than 100 truck-trailer combinations are certified with the highest degree TAPA TSR 1. With achieving this highest level of security for a full fleet, the company takes a head start compared to counterparts.

TAPA advises and performs audits for organizations with a own supply chain or suppliers to optimize the security of their operations. The TAPA-requirements for road transport safety (TAPA TSR) – with a focus on high-quality goods and theft sensitive goods-specify the minimum acceptable standards for safety in the entire supply chain, both for road transport as the related activities.
The TAPA TSR’s are designed to ensure that high-quality goods are transported safely across the world.

During the audit process, the following aspects of the supply chain were assessed: access control, employee monitoring, protection of environment, equipment malfunctions, surveillance systems for both truck and trailer for high-quality products and transit delays.

Achieving the highest level of security proves that all investments of H.Essers to equip their vehicles and warehouses with state-of-the-art technology are paying off.
The certificate is valid for three years.
