Gert Bervoets receives Herman Dessers Entrepreneur Award
On Thursday, June 4, our CEO Gert Bervoets was awarded the Herman Dessers Entrepreneur Award by Voka – Chamber of Commerce Limburg, one of the most prestigious business awards in the region.
This recognition highlights not only Gert’s leadership, but also the collective effort of the entire H.Essers organisation. Notably, it comes exactly 25 years after Noël Essers received the same distinction, marking a meaningful moment in the history of our family business.
Recognition for sustainable growth and innovation
According to the jury, this award acknowledges H.Essers’ consistent growth and its forward-looking approach to logistics. Particular emphasis was placed on the company’s ongoing investments in innovation, digitalisation, sustainable transport solutions and modern warehousing.
As highlighted by Voka, H.Essers demonstrates that international growth can go hand in hand with strong regional anchoring contributing to both economic development and the broader reputation of Limburg as a business region.
