Studio 100 enters into three-year partnership with H.Essers for warehousing and transport

There can hardly be a more renowned name in media: Studio 100 has grown into a strong reference in Belgium and surrounding countries. Once started as a small Flemish television production company in 1996, today the company is scoring hits with music, films, a number of theme parks (in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland), successful and spectacular musicals, and more. And we may now contribute to this success by putting our logistical shoulders to the wheel, because Studio 100 will be entrusting all of its warehousing and transport within the Benelux to us for the coming three years!

“The first steps in the collaboration have now been taken. Proof in any case that H.Essers lives up to its name as a reliable logistics partner. We therefore are looking forward to a pleasant and fruitful continuation and a long collaboration,” says Lieven De Geeter, Director of Procurement, ICT & Facilities at Studio 100.

From promotional material to toys

The first pallets will arrive at our location in Boom, Belgium, this month. The major work of moving all items still stored at the old location will then take place in July. These items include everything from promotional material to toys. “The choice for this location was obvious,” says Collin Springuel, Business Unit Manager at H.Essers. “There is a clear synergy between staff, customers and the specific kind of items stored there. And with a capacity for no fewer than 5,600 pallets, everything is already set up for a large customer such as Studio 100.” We work with an in-house developed electronic Warehouse Management System (e-WMS), which makes managing and transporting the stored items even easier and safer. In addition, the warehouse in Boom is only a few minutes away from the headquarters of Studio 100. From Boom, H.Essers organises the transport of goods to distribution centres such as those of Bart Smit, Carrefour, Fun and Standaard Boekhandel. But the Studio 100 theme parks are also supplied with the necessary materials and merchandise by H.Essers. In short: an exciting and multifaceted contract. We look forward to a successful partnership!
