Integrated Transportation and Logistics Solutions

Through the H.Essers Pharma Logistics division, we offer customers in the pharmaceutical sector integrated transportation and logistics solutions. This division is based in Vilvoorde in Genk, providing highly trained staff and specialised equipment.

The H.Essers warehouses are fully equipped with alarm systems for all loading and offloading, personalized access control and video monitoring 24/24. The warehouses are temperature controlled (2 °- 8 ° C or 15 °- 25 ° C) and continuously monitored through a monitoring center, where the customer can access reports and tracking on all goods. All Pharma logistics storage units are equipped with a pest control system to ensure zero risk of contamination.

Temperature control and real time monitoring

For the secure transportation of healthcare products H.Essers provides temperature-controlled trucks and box trailers that are equipped with temperature readers. The loading and offloading activities are recorded on video that the customer can view at any time. Vehicles are equipped with route computers and satellite.

H. Essers provides high quality in-house developed IT systems, allowing customers to track their goods in real time to receive electronic delivery notification. H.Essers also provides daily activity reports, inventory reports and monthly KPI reporting.

All staff operates in accordance to standard operating procedures and are highly trained in the best distribution and Pharma transport practices.
