Group H.Essers Romania : The big winner of Transit Awards 2011.

H.Essers Logistics Romania received last week in Timisoara on Friday 14-10, during the Transit Awards Romania in the field of transport and logistics, the first price in the category ' Best Full Logistics Service Provider in Romania 2011'.

The jury, who nominated this price, was not only existing out of journalists, but also was taking in consideration, the vote of the other competitors being nominated for this award!
Marc Paulissen, as Country Manager Romania, accepted the award, by mentioning that after H.Essers Logistics being rewarded as best Logistic Company of Romania in 2010, it was a huge challenge for his team and his organization to do in 2011 better then 2010.
The full integration from the other services by H.Essers provided in Romania, like international road and rail transport, customs, cross dock and domestic distribution, could only increase the value of H.Essers as LSP. By promoting the One Stop Shop Concept, having all these services under own control in an own structure! Being nominated for this award, was already seen as a result, winning the award, was the climax.
The awards was dedicated to the whole team, not only to the operational persons of every specific activity involved, but also the people behind the screens, in this case especially the people from the IT department and certainly their specialists in WMS as TMS, which are mostly seen as problem shooters, delayers of operations… instead of problem solvers… Now however , they have proven records of being a reliable support for our whole organization in the whole group !
Groep H.Essers Mission Statement : "To achieve a combination of transport and warehousing dressed and penetrated by a well-run system" is not just a slogan, not only words in the wind, but a hard fact, black on white.
Winning this Award is one of the first result, and motivates us to go one with it !
